My journey into photography began in 2007, high school, when I took a class in film photography. My curiosity in photography grew with time, as I continued to shoot casually over the next 10 years. Around 2017 I became more motivated to create quality images and that led me down the rabbit hole that all photographers go through  - trying to perfect the art of photography.

From 2018 through 2022, I was busy completing an MBA degree, transitioning careers, getting married, becoming a father. During this period, there wasn’t a lot of time for photography, but occasionally I could to escape to some local spots with my camera. The photos from the “Travel” section of the Gallery are primarily taken on vacations between 2018 and 2021 (and now 2023). It wasn’t until 2022 when I decided to focus my talents on the local nature scene. Even though the grand landscapes of the southwest and pacific northwest had originally inspired me to dive deeper into photography, I was beginning to realize that I could never successfully fill my portfolio and grow my skills by waiting for the occasional vacation to go shooting. Most recently, however, I went to Hawaii for a wedding and had a very productive and fun time shooting the scenery there.

What makes my work unique is that I will have some of the best landscape nature photographs of central Florida that exist because there are just not that many people out there capturing these landscapes at this quality. My work primarily features natural Florida and occasionally will include man-made elements and sometimes wildlife. My passion for photography has motivated me to embrace the challenge of capturing the natural beauty of my home state. In Florida, you have to work harder than places like the American southwest to pick out a good composition - and battle the elements to capture it. I will venture out into the various landscapes of Florida on foot, on boat or kayak, and by air. My passion for photography combined with my obsession for quality results in stunningly clean photographs that can be printed very large to decorate the walls of homes, offices, and more.

Canvas

Printing on canvas is a classic and popular option for displaying artwork. A canvas print is created by printing an image onto a stretched canvas material, which is then typically wrapped around a wooden frame and ready for hanging.

One of the primary benefits of printing on canvas is its texture and visual appeal. The canvas material adds a unique texture and depth to the image, giving it a more organic, natural feel than a traditional paper print. The texture also helps to diffuse light and reduce glare, making it easier to view the image from various angles.

Canvas prints are also highly customizable. The size, shape, and framing options can all be tailored to fit the needs of the space and the preferences of the buyer. This flexibility allows for a more personalized and unique display that can truly enhance the look and feel of a room.

Another benefit of canvas prints is their durability. The canvas material is typically coated with a protective layer that makes it resistant to water, fading, and scratches. This makes it an excellent option for high-traffic areas or spaces where the print may be exposed to environmental factors like humidity or sunlight.

Finally, canvas prints are also a versatile option for displaying artwork. They can be hung as standalone pieces, grouped together in a gallery wall, or even displayed without a frame for a more casual and modern look.

Overall, a canvas print is a timeless and versatile option for displaying artwork or photographs. Its unique texture, customization options, and durability make it an excellent investment that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Acrylic

Acrylic is widely regarded as the top quality medium for fine art printing. This is due to its unique ability to enhance the visual impact of an image while also providing unmatched durability and longevity.

Acrylic prints offer a level of clarity and depth that is difficult to achieve with other printing mediums. The acrylic material adds a luminous quality to the image, bringing out the details and colors in a way that is both striking and realistic. The smooth and glossy surface of the acrylic also helps to create a 3D-like effect, giving the image a sense of depth and dimensionality.

In addition to its visual appeal, acrylic prints are highly durable and resistant to damage. The acrylic surface is scratch-resistant and can withstand exposure to UV light and moisture without fading or warping. This makes it an excellent choice for high-traffic areas or outdoor spaces where traditional prints might not hold up as well.

Acrylic prints are also highly customizable. The size, shape, and framing options can all be tailored to fit the needs of the space and the preferences of the buyer. This flexibility allows for a more personalized and unique display that can truly enhance the look and feel of a room.

Overall, acrylic is the top quality medium for fine art printing due to its ability to enhance the visual impact of an image while also providing unmatched durability and longevity. Its luminous quality, scratch-resistant surface, and customizable options make it an excellent investment for those looking to display artwork or photographs in a way that is both stunning and long-lasting.

Metal

A metal print is a unique and visually stunning way to display a photograph or artwork. The image is printed directly onto a specially coated aluminum sheet using a dye-sublimation process that infuses the ink into the metal, creating a vibrant and long-lasting image that won't fade or peel over time.

One of the primary benefits of printing on metal is the incredible depth and richness of color that can be achieved. The metal surface adds a unique texture and depth to the image, making it appear almost 3-dimensional. The colors are more vivid and true-to-life, and the image has a sheen and luminescence that simply cannot be replicated on other media.

In addition to its visual impact, a metal print is also incredibly durable and resistant to damage. The metal surface is scratch-resistant and can withstand exposure to moisture and UV light without fading or warping. This makes it an excellent choice for high-traffic areas or outdoor spaces where traditional prints might not hold up as well.

Finally, a metal print is also a low-maintenance option for displaying artwork. Unlike traditional prints that need to be framed and protected behind glass, a metal print can be hung directly on the wall without any additional protection. The metal surface is easy to clean and won't attract dust or dirt like traditional paper prints.

Metal is my personal favorite, and an excellent choice for anyone looking for a unique and visually stunning way to display their artwork or photographs. Its durability, visual impact, and low-maintenance qualities make it an excellent investment that will be enjoyed for years to come.

Paper

Printing on paper is a traditional and versatile option for displaying artwork or photographs. A paper print is created by printing an image onto high-quality paper using a variety of printing techniques, such as inkjet or laser printing.

One of the primary benefits of printing on paper is its affordability and accessibility. Paper prints are widely available and can be produced in a range of sizes and finishes to fit the needs of the buyer. This makes it a popular option for those on a budget or looking for a more casual display.

Another benefit of printing on paper is the wide range of options available. Different types of paper can be used to create different effects, such as glossy, matte, or textured finishes. This allows for a more customized and personalized display that can truly enhance the look and feel of a room. If you prefer a specific type of paper, please don’t hesitate to contact me for a custom order.

Paper prints are also lightweight and easy to handle, making them a convenient option for shipping or moving. They can be framed or displayed using simple clips or tape, depending on the preference of the buyer.

Overall, a paper print is a flexible and affordable option for displaying artwork or photographs. Its accessibility, range of options, and lightweight nature make it a convenient choice that can be enjoyed by a wide range of buyers.
