I’m Aaron Smith, a fine art landscape photographer based in Central Florida. I focus on the quiet, often overlooked scenes that exist in between the dramatic postcard views. My work is rooted in patience, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the natural and wild places.
Most of my photography happens in the early hours or in changing weather, where light and conditions can shift quickly. I’m drawn to elements that make a scene feel alive and unpredictable like fog in the morning, or smoke from a forest fire, or the passing of storms around sunset. Whether I’m biking through a pine forest after a burn or kayaking a spring-fed creek at sunrise, I’m always looking for those fleeting compositions that only happen if you show up and stay awhile.

Through my photography, I try to give viewers the sense of being there, noticing the quiet moments most people pass without seeing.
